The Duo soon evolved into "The HYPE Boys with the addition of Rock Drummer "CHIPPO" The boys are gaining momentum and popularity with over 70,000 Facebook Followers, & over 75,000 monthly Spotify Streams.

Lead Vocals - Greg Weir (GRUG) "Screams into the mic until morning time"
Greg is a self-taught multi-instrumentalist who found his calling at a young age through rock/punk/metal. Playing along to CDs and crafting his passion for music in his own style gathering inspiration from Nirvana, Greenday, Korn, and The Beatles. And all-round music lover with a hard passion for rock. Loud and proud Greg shows his love of different genres of rock n roll ripping it up on stage with The Hype Boys.
Lead Guitar - Mick Kelly (MICKO) "Official Horse Head Mascot"
Music has been a part of mick since the very early days. He started learning guitar at the age of 6 taught by his dad and went on to professional lessons in his teen years. Micko has always been in a Band - from garage bands/school bands to creating a cover band at 18 years old, getting bookings out in local pubs/clubs and Big Events ever since with a number of different band groups over the years. Micko now loves spending his weekends shredding out guitar solos onstage and being in the studio creating new music with The HYPE Boys.
Drummer - Antonio Chiapetta (CHIPPO) "Drumstick Breaker"
Drummer Extraordinaire" and the reason we had to drop Hype Duo's name 😂 He's now one of the boys and brings a whole new element of high-beat energy to the show. Music is Chippos passion and this is clear when he's up on stage performing. He was awarded the 2019 Telstra ARIA Music Teacher of the Year and has performed with some incredible artists in the past. (including touring internationally with his original band King Farook.
